How to close your account and what happens to your data

Closing an account is different from canceling a subscription. Subscription cancellation usually stops future renewals, while account closure is the stronger step that ends access more completely.

Before closing your account

Before you fully close your account, make sure you understand:

• Whether your current subscription is still active.

• Whether your workspace contains active seats or ongoing usage.

• Whether you still want access to PAYG credits that may remain valid while the account stays active.

What to expect

In general:

• Subscription cancellation does not usually remove current-cycle access immediately.

• Full account closure ends the broader account relationship.

• If the account is fully closed, PAYG credits do not remain available.

Best practice

Only close the account when you are sure you no longer need workspace access, historical setup, or remaining usage rights tied to the active account state.
